BENGALURU: There will be no probe by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) into the Diary Gate controversy, the Karnataka High Court has said here on Monday. A senior journalist had filed a public interest litigation seeking a SIT probe on Monday stating that the matter was being investigated by the Income Tax Department, and a division bench headed by chief justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee and justice R B Budihal dismissed the petition. The Income Tax Department during a raid had seized a diary from the Congress MLC. The Congress has also released a diary in which entries allegedly made by a BJP MLC about some cash dealings.]]>
