Bhopal: On Tuesday, May 9th, 2023, in Bhopal, Additional Director General of Police Training Mrs. Anuradha Shankar and Dr. Farid Bazmee, retired librarian from Police Headquarters, released the updated book of Police Regulation Act. It is noteworthy that amendments have been made in the Police Regulation Act from time to time, and there was a pressing need to update the Act to incorporate these amendments. Deputy Superintendent of Police Dr. Farid Bazmee, who was posted as the librarian of the police headquarters, took the initiative for this work. With untiring efforts, he consolidated all these amendments and prepared them in the form of a book, which would prove to be an authentic and useful document for every employee of the police department with the latest amendments.
Dr. Bazmee spent 4 years working on this project and despite being seriously unwell, he removed all the errors of the previously published Act as well as compiled the new laws made in the Police Act in this book. This is an incredible achievement, and it speaks to his dedication and commitment to the police force.
During the book release event, ADG Ms. Shankar showed her concern for Dr. Bazmee’s health and visited him at the Paliwal Hospital to inquire about his well-being. The release of the book was a joyous occasion for Dr. Bazmee, who was very happy to see his tireless efforts being successful. He thanked the ADG for her support and encouragement throughout the project.
Other officials present at the event included Deputy Director Madhya Pradesh Police Academy Bhori Mr. Malay Jain, Additional DCP Mr. Mahavir Mujalde, and AIG Irmin Shah. Family members of Dr. Bazmee were also present, and they expressed their gratitude for the recognition and appreciation of Dr. Bazmee’s work. The updated Police Regulation Act book is an invaluable resource for the police department, and it will help them better serve and protect the citizens of Madhya Pradesh.
