Delhi: In a commendable operation, the Cyber Police Station situated in the outer northern district of Delhi Police successfully dismantled a nefarious gang of fraudsters. Employing a clever strategy, the law enforcement officials orchestrated the circulation of deceptive messages, alarming lakhs of people across the country with false information about an impending electricity shutdown.
As a direct outcome of their meticulous efforts, six cyber thugs from different regions of the country fell into the clutches of the vigilant authorities. These individuals, responsible for perpetrating online scams and fraudulent activities, were promptly apprehended. Presently, four members of the gang remain in judicial custody, awaiting further legal proceedings.
The operation stands as a testament to the Cyber Police Station’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the interests and well-being of the public.
