Charaideo: Assam’s Charaideo district, has been requested by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs for deputation. He will be assigned as the Senior Superintendent of Police at the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). The appointment of Yuvraj, an IPS officer, will be effective for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders are given. The order states, “Considering the public service interest and in response to the letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, vide F.No.1.21015/20/2023.IPS-III dated 13/06/2023, the services of Mr. Yuvraj, IPS (AM- 2013), Superintendent of Police, Charaideo, are placed at the disposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, to be posted as Senior Superintendent of Police at the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) under the usual terms and conditions of deputation for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of assuming charge of the position or until further orders, whichever event occurs first.” Consequently, the Assam Government’s home department appointed APS officer Mr. Hiranya Kumar Barman, who previously served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) at the police commissionerate in Guwahati, as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) for Charaideo district.
