Srinagar: In the city of Srinagar, the law enforcement community and the citizens were deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Superintendent of Police, Mr. Sanjeev Khajuria, of the JKAP-4th Security Battalion. The news of his passing sent shockwaves through the region, and the Director General of Police J&K, Mr. Dilbag Singh, extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He expressed deep sympathy and understanding for their pain and loss during this difficult time.

As a mark of respect and to pay his final respects, the Director General of Police personally attended the last rites of Mr. Sanjeev Khajuria at the solemn ceremony held at Jogi Gate Premnagar in Jammu. The funeral was attended by a large number of people from various walks of life, representing different sects of society, all united in their grief and remembrance of the dedicated officer.

Mr. Sanjeev Khajuria’s professional journey in the Jammu and Kashmir Police began in 1995 when he was appointed as a Sub Inspector. Over the years, he served with unwavering dedication and commitment in various capacities, leaving behind an exemplary track record of service and valor.

During his distinguished career, Mr. Khajuria served in several key positions, including postings in District Ramban, IR 20th Bn, IR 18th Bn, IR 19th Bn, and finally, the JKAP-4th Bn Security in Jammu. His contributions to maintaining law and order in the region, as well as his efforts to ensure the safety and security of the people, were highly commendable and deeply appreciated by his colleagues and the public alike.

Born on April 22, 1967, Mr. Sanjeev Khajuria’s legacy extends beyond his professional achievements. He was known for his amiable nature, approachability, and willingness to go the extra mile to assist those in need. As the news of his passing spread, many people who had the privilege of working with him or coming into contact with him during his service recalled fond memories of his kindness and dedication.

As the Superintendent of Police, Mr. Khajuria played a vital role in strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the community. His loss is not only deeply felt by his family and colleagues but also by the citizens he served, as he leaves behind a void that will be challenging to fill.

During this time of grief, the entire community stands together to mourn the loss of a distinguished officer who had dedicated his life to the service of the nation. The Director General of Police, along with the entire Jammu and Kashmir Police force, offer their prayers for the eternal peace of Mr. Sanjeev Khajuria’s departed soul. May his legacy of service and compassion continue to inspire and guide all those who follow in his footsteps in the pursuit of justice and public safety.
