Dindigul: Acting on a complaint regarding the use of hunting dogs for wild rabbit hunting in Molappadiyur near Vadamadurai near Dindigul, Forest Protection Force Officer Krishnakumar and Ayyalur Forest Officer Manikandan, along with their team, conducted extensive patrols in the area. During the operation, Muthu, Palaniandhi, Manikandan, Karthikeyan, Subash, Malayalam, and Lok Manikandan were found engaged in rabbit hunting. In light of this revelation, the forest department filed a case and imposed a fine of Rs.50,000 on Muthu and Rs.25,000 each on the remaining six individuals, totaling Rs.2 lakh.
