Over the course of an immersive and meticulously planned 21-day program, a select group of 20 individuals drawn from various districts across the state underwent an in-depth training regimen in contemporary disaster management techniques. This intensive and highly specialized training initiative was conducted at the state-of-the-art SDRF Corps facility situated in Jolly Grant. The participants, hailing from diverse backgrounds including Civil Police, Fire Service, and PAC personnel, were exposed to a wide spectrum of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical exercises, equipping them with the skills and expertise needed to effectively navigate the challenges posed by disasters, both natural and man-made. This comprehensive training endeavor aimed to empower these individuals with the capabilities required for proactive disaster preparedness, swift and efficient response strategies, and the seamless coordination necessary for successful recovery efforts.
