Thrissur Rural: The Kodungallur police have successfully apprehended the accused who committed the theft of gold coins from a residence where he had been hired for painting work. The incident transpired following the completion of the accused’s painting assignment at Prathapan’s residence in Pokkatu, Undekadu, Kodungallur. Seizing the opportunity, the accused pilfered gold that was securely stored in a cupboard within the house.
The stolen gold was traced and recovered by the police from two distinct locations: Purnima Jewelry in Chantapura and Sri Padmanabha Jewelry in East Nata. The investigation, marked by its meticulous nature, was conducted under the leadership of Inspector Baiju ER. The team included thorough and dedicated members such as SI Kashyappan, SI Jason, Senior Civil Police Officer Gopakumar PG, and Civil Police Officers Faisal, Vipin Kollara, and Binil Elam Kunnapuzha.
