Thrissur Rural, Kerala: Demonstrating exceptional investigative efficiency, the Thrissur Rural Police swiftly solved the murder case of 89-year-old Krishnan, who was found dead inside his residence at Madavakara, Chittissery, by arresting the accused within a short span of the investigation.
Following the discovery of the elderly man’s body, the police immediately launched a comprehensive investigation under the leadership of Thrissur Rural District Police Chief Mohammed Nadeem, IPS. A special investigation team meticulously collected evidence, examined the crime scene, questioned witnesses, and analysed all available leads to identify the offender.
The investigation revealed that the victim’s son allegedly attacked his father with a hammer during a dispute over property, resulting in the elderly man’s death. Based on the evidence gathered, the police apprehended the accused and initiated the necessary legal proceedings.
