Madurai City: On February 3, 2014, as a component of the “Happiness” initiative by the Tamil Nadu Police Department, Dr. J. Lokanathan IPS, the Police Commissioner of Madurai City, held a meeting with 12 police officers from Madurai City who had successfully resumed duty after undergoing rehabilitation at the drug rehabilitation center. During the interaction, he inquired about their well-being, offered advice, and encouraged both the officers and their families to prioritize their work. The Police Commissioner also emphasized the importance of happiness within the officers’ households.
