Kozhikode City: Forest XI emerged victorious in the friendly football match organized as a part of the Lok Sabha election awareness program. In the final, Calicut Press Club suffered a defeat with three one-sided goals. Led by the District Election Sweep Cell, the friendly football match featured four teams: Collectors XI, Commissioners XI, Forest XI, and Calicut Press Club XI.
The event took place at Corporation EMS Stadium. Present at the ground were esteemed individuals including the Honorable Kozhikode City Police Commissioner Mr. Rajpal Meena IPS, Honorable Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Anuj Paliwal IPS, Sub Collector Mr. Harshil R Meena, Assistant Collector Mr. Prateek Jain, Divisional Forest Officers Mr. Ashiq Ali U and Mr. Joshil M, as well as office bearers from the Press Club and various department officials.
