Dindigul: On March 21, in commemoration of World Forest Day in Dindigul district, an awareness seminar on Tree Plantation and Forest Protection was organized at Parvati College of Arts and Sciences, Dindigul, under the direction of Mr. Mahendran, the Community Forestry Officer of Kottava. Dr. Srinivasan, the Principal of the college, presided over the event. Mr. Anbazhagan, the Community Welfare Officer of Alaghar Temple, along with Mr. Sivaram, Mr. Naveen Kumar, Mr. Arunkumar, Mr. Mahesh, Mr. Karvendan, Mr. Shaktivel, and Mr. Gnana Balamurugan, Community Foresters from various areas, were also in attendance. Foresters Samiyappan, Shankar, Vivekanandan, and Balakrishnan assisted in organizing the ceremony. A college student named Ms. Keerthy expressed gratitude in the vote of thanks.
