Kalpatta: Mr.Taposh Basumatari IPS has officially taken charge as the 48th Superintendent of Police of Wayanad district. Prior to this assignment, he was entrusted with the responsibility of Special Operation Group SP, where he played a key role in various operations. His previous postings include serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Kalpatta and Iritty, where he gained valuable experience in law enforcement and public safety.
Taposh Basumatari hails from Guwahati, Assam, and is known for his dedication and commitment to his duties. He is a member of the 2019 batch of the Indian Police Service (IPS), and his journey in the force has been marked by significant achievements and a strong focus on maintaining law and order.
