Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu commended police officers who performed their duties exceptionally well in the Coimbatore district. He personally met and appreciated officers—including Mr. M. Velmurugan, a Head Constable at the Kovilpalayam Police Station—at the Secretariat on September 29, 2026. They were commended for actions taken while risking their lives in the line of duty and were presented with gifts in recognition of their outstanding performance.
