<![CDATA[HYDERABAD: Bollywood film producer Karim Morani surrendered before the Hayathnagar police on Saturday for his alleged involvement in the rape of a 25-year-old girl. He was arrested and taken to a local court where he was sent to 14-day judicial custody . Meanwhile, the police moved a petition in the court seeking seven-day custody of Morani. The court, after hearing the arguments of both defence and prosecution, permitted a five-day police custody .A case had been registered against Morani after the victim lodged a complaint under IPC sections 376 (rape), 506 (intimidation) and 341 (wrongful restraint) early this year.]]>
