Rachakonda: Rachakonda Commissioner of Police, Mr. G. Sudheer Babu, IPS, hosted a special lunch (Bada Khana) to honor the dedicated staff of Rachakonda Traffic Zone-II, appreciating their efforts in ensuring the peaceful conclusion of the recent Ganesh Festival-2024.
As part of a welfare initiative, the Commissioner provided traffic kits to 730 traffic personnel, each containing 10 essential items. Each kit, valued at Rs.7,800, amounted to a total expenditure of Rs.41,83,664.
Contents of the Traffic Kit:
Bag: A durable, water-resistant bag for carrying essentials.
LED Baton: A high-visibility LED baton for enhanced safety.
Reflective Jacket: A jacket for increased visibility at night.
Raincoat: A waterproof coat for protection during monsoons.
Water Bottle: A refillable bottle for staying hydrated.
Jungle Shoes: Water-resistant shoes for rugged conditions.
Goggles: Eye protection against road dust.
Hat: A breathable hat for outdoor duties.
White Safety Helmet: A protective helmet for fieldwork.
Three-Layered Surgical Mask: High-quality masks for protection against airborne pathogens.
The program was attended by Mr. Ch. Praveen Kumar, IPS, DCP LB Nagar Zone, Mr. V. Sreenivasulu, DCP, Traffic Zone-II, Mr. G. Srinivas Kumar, ADCP Traffic-II, Mr. B. Naveen Reddy, and Mr. M.V. Srinivasa Rao, ACSP Traffic Divisions LB Nagar & Malkajgiri, along with Inspectors, SIPs, and the staff of Rachakonda Traffic Zone-II.
