Haryana: The crime situation in Haryana has shown a consistent downward trend, with a particularly significant reduction in criminal activities observed in the month of September this year. As part of the ongoing crackdown on criminal elements, the Special Task Force (STF) has made remarkable progress under Operation Aagran.
This initiative has led to the arrest of 179 of the most-wanted criminals who had been evading law enforcement for extended periods. Additionally, 45 notorious gangsters and gang members who were involved in organized crime activities have also been captured and brought to justice. Furthermore, 309 individuals linked to serious crimes, including murder, extortion, robbery, and other heinous offenses, have been taken into custody.
In terms of overall operations, Operation Aagran has seen extensive mobilization of law enforcement resources throughout the year. A total of 12,160 dedicated teams of police personnel have been actively engaged in crime prevention and investigation. These efforts have resulted in the registration of 3,943 First Information Reports (FIRs), formalizing the legal process against accused individuals. As a result, 7,586 criminals have been arrested and are now facing legal proceedings.
The cumulative impact of these operations has been instrumental in reducing the crime graph across Haryana, with the authorities committed to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety and security of citizens.
