Tamil Nadu, Tirunelveli: An order has been issued under section 41(2) of the Chennai City Police Act, 1997 (Extended to the Cities of Salem, Tiruchirappalli and Tirunelveli) for a period of 15 days commencing from 00.00 hours on 25.10.2024 to 24.00 hours on 08.11.2024, prohibiting assemblies, meetings, processions, agitations and demonstrations etc. for the preservation of public peace or public safety within the City of Tirunelveli.
