Tamil Nadu, Tirunelveli: Karthik alias Kompaiya (21), Sasi alias Ayyappan (19), and Perumal (68), accused in the murder of Paramasivam, a resident of the Pettai area in Tirunelveli city, were charged under the Prevention of Gangsters Act. This action was recommended by Tirunelveli City Deputy Commissioner of Police S. Vijayakumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police Senthilkumar (East Town), and Pettai Police Inspector Judy. Following the City Police Commissioner Rupesh Kumar Meena, I.P.S.’s orders, the accused were lodged in Palai Central Jail on November 29, 2024.
