Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: Tirunelveli District Superintendent of Police, Vishvesh B. Sastry, IPS, conducted a surprise inspection of the Vellallankulam checkpoint and the security picket duties at the same location. During the inspection, he reviewed security arrangements, vehicle checking procedures, and the performance of the police personnel on duty, issuing instructions to further intensify security measures. Subsequently, he visited the Seethaparpanallur Police Station to inspect administrative operations, case management, record-keeping, and police services provided to the public; he also directed that necessary steps be taken to expedite the execution of pending Non-Bailable Warrants (NBWs).
