Telangana, Hyderabad: The police are taking steps to ensure that there is no disruption to peace and security on New Year in Hyderabad. It has been suggested to the organizers that the events should be held till 1 am and CC cameras are mandatory. The permission must be taken 15 days before. Obscene dances were banned during the celebrations. Hyderabad CP CV Anand warned that a fine of Rs.10 thousand and 6 months imprisonment will be imposed for Drunk Driving.
Issue of guidelines for New Year celebrations
CP Anand has issued guidelines to operators of clubs, bars, restaurants, pubs, 3 star and hotels for New Year celebrations in HYD. He said that on 31/JAN 1 of this month permission is required for the celebrations to be held till one o’clock in the night. Come in public places. DJ will be allowed only till 10 o’clock. He warned that if drugs are taken, strict action will be taken and cases will be filed. Excise permission is mandatory for liquor parties, he said.
