Tamil Nadu, Krishnagiri: The forest department received a tip-off yesterday afternoon about the sale of elephant tusks in the Mattam Circle area of Hosur. Acting on the information, officials conducted a raid in the area and discovered four individuals in possession of a pair of elephant tusks. The tusks were seized, and Venkatesh (27), who was found with them, was arrested. Additionally, Vijayakumar and seven others were taken into custody.
