Andhra Pradesh, Tirupati: District Superintendent of Police (SP), Sri L. Subbarayudu IPS, conducted a surprise inspection of the Erpedu Police Station in Renigunta subdivision today as part of the annual inspection. The inspection included an evaluation of the police station premises, staff, and various records such as the General Diary, Case Diary, and Court Calendar. Several recommendations were made to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with established protocols.
The SP emphasized the need for strict measures to curb anti-social activities, including the complete prohibition of illegal transportation. Those involved in such activities should face criminal charges. Law enforcement duties must be intensified, and continuous vigilance of suspects and repeat offenders is essential.
The SP highlighted the importance of strengthening the beat system and maintaining consistent supervision by senior officers. He also directed police personnel to visit villages within the station’s jurisdiction to conduct meetings, educate the public about cybercrimes, and provide counseling to prevent group conflicts and promote peace.
To combat anti-social elements, the SP instructed officers to implement continuous patrolling using patrol vehicles, enhance the night beat system, and prevent theft within the station’s jurisdiction. He also stressed the need for strict surveillance to deter activities such as chicken races, gambling, and public disturbances like consuming snacks in open areas. Public awareness programs on cybercrime prevention were also recommended.
Sri Subbarayudu IPS warned that any personnel involved in illegal activities would face strict disciplinary action.
