Kerala, Idukki: The Idukki District Police conducted an anti-drug campaign titled “Choice of Life” for students and staff at Thodupuzha Al-Azhar College on 04.03.2025. The campaign was inaugurated by the Honorable Ernakulam Range Deputy Inspector General, Dr. S. Satish Bino IPS, during the Idukki Student Police Cadet Annual Camp. Following this, awareness sessions are being held in various schools across the district under the supervision of Idukki District Police Chief, Mr. Vishnu Pradeep T.K. IPS.
The session at Al-Azhar College was led by Mr. Aji Aravind, Sub-Inspector of the Motivation Cell under the Idukki District Student Police Project, with the participation of 450 students and college staff.
The public is urged to report any drug-related activities in their surroundings by messaging Kerala Police’s “Yoddhavu” WhatsApp helpline at 9995966666. The identity of informants will be kept confidential. Additionally, drug-related information specific to Idukki district can be reported to the District Narcotics Cell at 9497912594.
