Bengaluru City, Karnataka: In a proactive step towards enhancing safety and inclusivity, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Shri Seemant Kumar Singh, IPS, today led a high-level workshop with senior women police officers, including all DCPs and PSIs, focusing on the safety of women and children.
The workshop featured an in-depth panel discussion addressing real-world challenges faced by women officers during field duty—ranging from workplace safety to infrastructure-related issues. The session created a vital platform for open dialogue, enabling officers to share their experiences and recommend actionable improvements.
Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh emphasized the department’s commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment both for the public and for women in uniform. The workshop marks another milestone in the Bengaluru Police’s ongoing efforts to lead by example in gender-sensitive policing and inclusive law enforcement practices.
