Chandigarh, July 9 – Reinforcing its commitment to road safety, the Road Safety Cycle Squad of the Chandigarh Traffic Police carried out a dedicated awareness drive targeting cyclists, rickshaw users, and pedestrians at prominent city intersections.
The team sensitized the public on the importance of adhering to traffic rules at intersections, cycle tracks, and zebra crossings, emphasizing safe commuting practices. As part of the initiative, reflective tapes were affixed at Sector 38/40 Light Point and Sector 18/19/20/21 Chowk to enhance night-time visibility and pedestrian safety.
This initiative marks another proactive step by Chandigarh Traffic Police in fostering a culture of responsible road behavior and citizen safety, particularly for vulnerable road users.
