Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh: In a heartwarming initiative aimed at the safety, respect, and well-being of senior citizens, the Bilaspur Police organized the ‘Seasonal Chetna Program’ at Police Line Bilaspur. The event focused on building a strong bond between the police and the elderly, particularly retired police personnel and their families.
As a gesture of honor, the attendees were felicitated with shawls and coconuts in the presence of Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Archana Jha, who expressed deep respect for the senior citizens. She remarked, “Senior citizens are a treasure trove of experience. The younger generation has much to learn from their wisdom and life stories.”
The programme was conducted on the initiative of SSP Shri Rajnesh Singh (IPS), ensuring direct interaction with senior citizens, who are regarded as the pillars of society. Their valuable insights and suggestions were noted with great appreciation.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Reserve Inspector Bhupendra Gupta, Chetna Mitras, and around 50 senior citizens, all of whom expressed heartfelt gratitude for the respectful and affectionate atmosphere created by the police.
