Rachakonda, Telangana. October 31, 2025: On the occasion of “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” (National Unity Day)** marking the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Sri G. Sudheer Babu, IPS, paid rich tributes to the “Iron Man of India” by garlanding his portrait at the Rachakonda Police Office, Neredmet.
Following the floral tribute, the Commissioner administered the Ekta Diwas Pledge to police officers and staff, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the unity, integrity, and security of the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, the CP highlighted that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s visionary leadership and unyielding efforts were instrumental in uniting over 565 princely states into a single, strong, and independent India. He emphasized that Patel’s contribution to national integration remains unparalleled in the country’s history.
