Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh : In a proactive step towards crime prevention and community safety, Kakinada District Superintendent of Police Sri G. Bindu Madhav, IPS, has directed all police stations to regularly engage with rowdy sheeters and guide them towards a positive and responsible way of life.
As part of this initiative, rowdy sheeters under the limits of Kakinada I Town, Port Police Station, Tuni Town, and several other stations across the district were called to their respective police stations today. Police officers counselled them on the importance of discipline, lawful behaviour, and maintaining a peaceful lifestyle.
Officers emphasised that “rowdyism will not lead anywhere” and encouraged them to adopt a constructive path, contribute to society, and avoid activities that disturb public order. They were advised to stay away from crime, focus on family responsibilities, and work towards a better future.
The district police reaffirmed that such counselling sessions will continue regularly as part of efforts to maintain law and order, reduce repeat offences, and promote a safer environment for the public.
