Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka: Hon’ble Director General and Inspector General of Police, Karnataka State, Dr. M.A. Salim, IPS, visited the Chikkamagaluru District Armed Reserve (DAR) Unit today. During the visit, the DGP reviewed the functioning of the DAR, inspected facilities, and interacted with police officers and staff.
Dr. Salim personally enquired about the welfare and grievances of the personnel and offered valuable guidance and instructions to ensure better efficiency, discipline, and service delivery.
Hon’ble Inspector General of Police, Western Zone, Shri Amit Singh, IPS, Superintendent of Police Dr. Vikram Amate, IPS, Additional SP Shri C.T. Jayakumar, along with RPI DAR and DAR staff, were present during the inspection.
The visit highlighted the department’s commitment to enhancing police welfare, strengthening operational readiness, and motivating personnel towards dedicated public service.
