Bathinda, Punjab: In an effort to strengthen road safety and ensure disciplined traffic movement, DySP Traffic Bathinda, along with the In-charge Traffic Bathinda, launched a Special Traffic Enforcement Drive across key locations of the city.
As part of the initiative, a special naka-bandi was set up, during which the police personally checked documents of various vehicles. Drivers found operating vehicles without valid documents were issued challans as per traffic regulations, reinforcing the message of responsible driving.
To further enhance public awareness, the team also conducted a foot march in busy market areas, educating citizens about the importance of following traffic rules for their own safety and the safety of others.
The Traffic Police emphasized that such drives will continue regularly to enhance road safety, reduce accidents, and encourage citizens to become responsible road users.
