Saran, Bihar: Bhagwan Bazar Police in Saran district successfully solved a theft case reported at the historic Dharmnath Temple, demonstrating prompt and effective policing.
Following information received on December 18, 2025, regarding a theft at the temple, Bhagwan Bazar Police Station registered Case No. 704/25 and immediately launched an investigation. Acting on confidential inputs, the police team apprehended the accused Pankaj Kumar Rai alias Benga on December 20, 2025, from behind a gas godown within the Bhagwan Bazar police station limits.
During the search, police recovered ₹1,809 in cash and one gold-like headpiece chain from the possession of the accused.
The arrested accused is a resident of Ratnapura, Bhagwan Bazar Police Station area, Saran district.
