Bengaluru, Karnataka: A “Weekend Day Out with a Noble Cause” was organized at the Whitefield Subdivision, where the Police, along with officers, staff, and members of the public, participated in a blood donation camp and tree plantation programme.
The initiative was held in association with Prakruti Prasanna and Mamata Vaidya of Kidwai Cancer Hospital. Officials highlighted that a single unit of blood can save up to three lives in emergency situations, underlining the importance of regular voluntary donation.
Alongside the blood camp, saplings were planted to promote environmental sustainability and community responsibility. The Whitefield Subdivision Police conveyed that good deeds done for society always return in multiple meaningful ways.
