Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh: Acting on instructions from the Ministry of Defence, the historic Ratanpur Fort transformed into a powerful platform of patriotism as a grand joint band performance of the armed forces was held to mark the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’.
Collector Sanjay Agarwal (IAS) and Senior Superintendent of Police, Bilaspur, Rajnesh Singh (IPS) graced the event as chief guests. The Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), SDOP Kota, and Station House Officer, Ratanpur, also played an active role in the smooth organization of the program.
The event was conducted in coordination with the Army, Navy, Air Force, Indian Coast Guard (ICG), and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), drawing an audience of nearly 500 dignitaries, journalists, and citizens.
The unified band of the armed forces filled the fort premises with stirring patriotic tunes, inspiring strong feelings of national pride, unity, and reverence among the attendees. The disciplined display by the musicians showcased the strength and harmony of the nation’s defence forces.
The program concluded with a respectful rendition of the National Anthem, receiving enthusiastic participation from the gathered crowd.
