Hyderabad, Telangana: In a commendable display of community partnership, residents of Karanbagh Colony in Saidabad donated 32 high-definition CCTV cameras to the Hyderabad City Police under the “Empowering Your Everyday Safety (EYES)” and “Donate a Camera” initiatives.
The cameras were formally handed over by the Karanbagh Colony Association in the presence of Commissioner of Police V.C. Sajjanar. Appreciating the residents’ proactive support, the Commissioner described CCTV cameras as “force multipliers” that significantly enhance round-the-clock surveillance and provide reliable, unbiased evidence during investigations. He also encouraged citizens and corporate organizations to contribute CCTV cameras under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to further strengthen public safety measures.
Senior police officials and members of the colony association attended the event, highlighting the collaborative spirit between law enforcement and the community.
The initiative underscores the growing public participation in bolstering urban security infrastructure and reflects the collective commitment of citizens and the Hyderabad City Police to ensuring a safer environment for all.
