Hyderabad City, Telangana: The annual mobilization parade of the armed police forces concluded successfully at the Special Armed Reserve Central Police Lines (SAR CPL), Amberpet, with a formal de-mobilization ceremony on Wednesday. The event was reviewed by R. Venkateswarlu, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (CAR, HAC) and Commandant, SAR CPL, who attended as the chief guest.
The 14-day intensive mobilization training program, conducted as per the Telangana State Police Manual guidelines, began on February 16 and focused on strengthening operational readiness and professional skills of the force.
Around 470 police personnel underwent comprehensive training covering guard and escort duties, law and order bandobust, VIP security protocols, and advanced weapon handling. As part of the program, 407 personnel participated in firing practice to improve their marksmanship, while drills such as squad drill, arms drill, and lathi drill were also conducted.
The training further included crowd control operations, firefighting techniques, cyber fraud awareness, first aid, and healthy lifestyle guidance. Personnel were also briefed on administrative procedures, including HRMS, service and leave rules, and logistics management such as vehicle and equipment maintenance.
Speaking on the occasion, DCP R. Venkateswarlu urged the personnel to effectively implement the skills learned during training in their field duties and continue serving the public with dedication, discipline, and professionalism. Senior police officials, including In-charge Additional Commandant V. Trilok Nath Reddy, also attended the ceremony.
