The pledge reaffirmed their commitment to building an egalitarian society free from caste discrimination, emphasizing that individuals should be treated with dignity and equality, without any caste-based identification. The observance marked the birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar, whose lifelong struggle against social injustice and advocacy for the rights of the marginalized continues to inspire such initiatives.
