Chikballapura, Karnataka: Personnel of Gauribidanur Nagar Police Station organized a beat meeting in the 10th beat area of the station limits and conducted a comprehensive public awareness program.
During the meeting, police educated residents about emergency helpline numbers 112, 1930, and 1098, along with awareness on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act), Child Marriage Act, and Child Labor Prohibition Act.
Officials also informed the public about the dangers of chain snatching, narcotics, gambling, illegal liquor sales, and violations of traffic rules. In addition, awareness was created regarding the new “Mane Mane Police” beat system and the department’s 24/7 AI chatbot companion service.
The initiative reflects the police department’s continued efforts towards community policing, crime prevention, and public safety awareness.
