Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: City Police Commissioner Mr. Deshmukh Shekhar Sanjay, IPS felicitated the children of police personnel who excelled in the 10th and 12th standard public examinations during the 2024–2025 academic year.
A total of 19 top-performing students from families of officers and staff serving in the Tirunelveli City Police Department were invited and honored on May 18, 2026. Educational scholarships were also presented to the students in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.
The Commissioner congratulated the students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their future studies and careers.
The initiative reflects the department’s encouragement towards education and welfare of police families.
