Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: Personnel of Cheranmahadevi Police Station arrested a youth for allegedly possessing cannabis intended for sale during a patrol operation in the Cheranmahadevi area.
According to police, a patrol team led by Special Sub-Inspector Murugesan noticed Madan alias Mayandi (19), a resident of Cheranmahadevi, behaving suspiciously near Poligara. Upon conducting a search, officers allegedly found cannabis concealed in his possession.
Following the seizure, Sub-Inspector Annajothi registered a case and arrested the accused. Police seized approximately 80 grams of cannabis during the operation and further investigation is underway.
