Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: Police personnel and staff members retiring from service on May 31, 2026, after rendering distinguished service in the Tirunelveli City Police were felicitated at a special retirement appreciation ceremony.
Deshmukh Shekar Sanjay personally honoured the retiring officers and staff on May 29, 2026, by presenting them with shawls and retirement certificates in recognition of their dedicated service to the department.
The retirees included Assistant Commissioner W. Joseph Jetson, Assistant Inspectors S. Murugan, S. Ravichandran, A. Abdul Hameed, M. Isakki, D. Satish Singh, and M. Kannadas; Special Assistant Inspectors A. Rajasekaran, E. Sudalaimuthu, and R. Sankaralingam; and Office Assistant C. Karpagavalli.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner of Police S. Vijayakumar, other police officers, and family members, who joined in appreciating the retirees for their commitment, professionalism, and valuable contributions to policing and public service throughout their careers.
