Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: Ramakrishnan (41), a resident of Kesavaneri in Panagudi, Tirunelveli district, filed a complaint at the Panagudi Police Station on May 30, 2026, reporting the theft of copper wire from a well located within his garden. Based on this complaint, Panagudi Sub-Inspector of Police Sophia registered a case and initiated an investigation. She subsequently arrested Alvin (27), a resident of Vadali Vilai, and is currently taking steps to remand him to judicial custody.
