Hyderabad City, Telangana: A farewell ceremony was organized for 43 police personnel retiring from the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate on attaining superannuation. Sri Tafseer Iqbal, IPS, Additional CP (Law & Order), attended as the Chief Guest on behalf of Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar.
The retiring officers were felicitated with shawls and mementos, and retirement benefits were distributed through the City Police Co-operative Credit Society. Addressing the gathering, Sri Tafseer Iqbal praised the retirees for their dedicated service and advised them to invest retirement savings cautiously while assuring continued departmental support.
Speakers highlighted the invaluable contribution of senior officers in strengthening modern policing and acknowledged the role of their families throughout their careers.
The retirees included 3 senior officers, 1 Superintendent, 12 SIs, 18 ASI/RSIs, 5 Head Constables, 2 PCs, and 2 LGEs. As a special gesture, official vehicles were arranged to drop the retired personnel at their residences after the ceremony.
