Hyderabad, Telangana: During a special traffic enforcement drive conducted at Afzalgunj T-Junction under the limits of Goshamahal Traffic Police Station, Traffic Police officials intercepted a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing registration number TG16B4921. Verification through the e-Challan database revealed that the registration number actually belongs to a Honda SP 125 DLX, confirming that the motorcycle was using a fake number plate.
The rider, Shaik Rasool Ali (26), a mechanic residing in Ameerpet, failed to produce valid vehicle ownership documents. During questioning, he stated that he had purchased the motorcycle about six months ago through a Facebook marketplace listing from an unknown person for ₹20,000.
To verify the ownership and origin of the motorcycle and to ascertain whether it is a stolen vehicle or involved in any criminal activity, the rider along with the seized motorcycle was handed over to Afzalgunj Law & Order Police Station for further investigation. Necessary legal action has been initiated.
