Madurai City, Tamil Nadu: In accordance with the directives of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, anti-drug awareness programs for students are being conducted across the state. Following the orders of Madurai City Police Commissioner Rajendran and under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Vanitha, awareness camps regarding drug abuse prevention are being organized for students. As part of this initiative, Thangamani, the Inspector of the Madurai South Traffic Police, inaugurated a special anti-drug awareness program at the Thiruparankundram Government Higher Secondary School and educated the students about the dangers of drug abuse. Thiruparankundram Traffic Sub-Inspector Tharchus, Special Sub-Inspector Anbu, the school headmaster, teaching staff, and over 300 students participated in this awareness event.
