Warangal, Telangana: Under the guidance of the District Welfare Officer (DWO), the Inspector, CCPS Warangal, along with staff, conducted a Cyber Crime Awareness Programme for senior citizens.
The participants were sensitized on cybercrimes, online frauds, Digital Arrest scams, and essential cyber safety precautions.
The programme focused on creating awareness about identifying and avoiding online frauds, safe use of digital platforms, protecting personal and financial information, and staying alert against fraudulent calls, messages and links.
Police officials advised the senior citizens to remain vigilant and follow the mantra: Stay Alert. Stay Safe. Think Before You Click.
