Warangal, Telangana: A review meeting was held on Tuesday regarding the arrangements for the Bathukamma and Dasara celebrations, scheduled to take place from the 10th to the 20th of this month at the Rangaleela Grounds in Ursugutta.
Warangal Police Commissioner N. Swetha (IPS) attended the meeting as the chief guest, which was presided over by District Collector Satya Sarada.
Speaking on the occasion, CP N. Swetha:
Advised all departments to work in coordination to ensure the celebrations are conducted successfully and peacefully.
Stated that the police department has prepared a special security plan to maintain law and order and that proactive measures would be taken to prevent any untoward incidents.
Directed the concerned departments to pay special attention to aspects such as security, traffic control, sanitation, drinking water, restroom facilities, and basic infrastructure, given the expected turnout of lakhs of devotees.
