Warangal, Telangana: Acting on credible information about illegal gambling activities, the Warangal Task Force conducted a raid at a residence belonging to Siraboina Sampath in Girmajipet, within the limits of Intezargunj Police Station.
During the operation, seven individuals were apprehended. Police seized ₹20,720 in cash, seven mobile phones and playing cards from the premises.
The arrested individuals were identified as:
Vannela Vijay (34), Govindarajula Gutta, Hanamkonda.
Boosa Ravinder (40), Girmajipet, Warangal.
Gunta Sammaiah (38), Girmajipet, Warangal.
Kuna Mahesh (30), Fort Warangal.
Siraboina Sampath (47), Girmajipet, Warangal.
Uppula Kiran (40), Elambazar, Warangal.
Sudam Sandeep (34), Shivanagar, Warangal.
The Task Force team handed over the apprehended individuals and seized articles to Intezargunj Police for further legal action.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of ACP Task Force A. Madhusudhan and Inspector of Police K. Sridhar, with SI T. Veeraswamy and the Task Force team participating.
The action highlights the continued efforts of Warangal Police to curb illegal gambling activities and maintain public order.
