<![CDATA[The Construction of 35 police station buildings in the State is complete and 68 police station buildings are at various stages of work, said Telangana State Police Housing Corporation Chairman Mr. Koleti Damoder. Addressing a press meet on the completion of a year in office, he told that the various projects taken up by the corporation are progressing satisfactorily. He informed that the corporation has, so far, taken up construction work pertaining to the police academy, central prisons, 14 police battalion complexes each on 100 acres and OCTOPUS training centers on 600 acres. He told that with financial assistance from The Central Government the corporation has also taken up construction of 30,000 police residential quarters, buildings of DGP, Intelligence, CID, ACB, DG-Prisons, CRPF and Centre for Good Governance. A model police station at Godavarikhani under Ramagundam Commissionerate is also being built at an estimated cost of Rs.4.50 crore, he stated. Mr. Damoder mentioned that the government has sanctioned Rs. 20 crore for nine IR Battalion in Adilabad, Khammam and Ranga Reddy districts for which works are currently progressing at a brisk pace.]]>
