<![CDATA[With the inauguration done by the Minister for Municipal Administration and Rural Development Mr. S.P. Velumani on Friday all the police stations in Coimbatore district (rural) will have the mini library facility in a few days. With the support of the 36 Rotary clubs of Coimbatore books will be purchased and dispatched to all the police stations in a few days, said senior officials. The work of setting up mini library in police stations coming under their limits have been entrusted to The Rotary clubs. The idea of the rural police is to have the library facility in 36 police stations, three women police stations and three traffic wing stations. According to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Mr.P.Moorthy, who brought into vogue, the mini library project feels that the provision of library at police stations will be a way of promoting reading habit among police personnel as well as among visitors. He added that Inspector General (West Zone) of police Mr. A. Pari and Deputy Inspector General of police (Coimbatore range) Mr. G. Karthikeyan extended all support for the project. K. Kavidasan, Poet and director of Roots Group of Companies, was also present at the inauguration of mini library project. Office bearers of Rotary S. Rajasekhar, Chella K. Raghavendran and R.S.
